Vendors are told whose event it is, the city, the date and the guest count, and what you're asking for. They need those to quote.
They reply to an address we create for your event, not to your own inbox, and we pass their answers to you. We don't hand out your phone number.
We use it to ask vendors for quotes and to show you the answers. That's it. We don't sell it, we don't rent it, and we don't hand it to anyone for advertising. (The one thing an ad platform hears from us is an ad-click code, below.)
A vendor's standard price list (the one they send anyone who asks) may be shown to the next couple who asks that vendor. Nothing about you or your event is in it, and what a vendor writes for you alone stays on your page.
Three outside services see part of it because they're how the thing runs: Google Workspace carries our email; Cloudflare sits in front of this site and runs the "confirm you're human" check on the form, and sees your IP address as part of that; and Stripe takes card payments, so if you pay, Stripe handles the card and we never see its number.
A weekly note about what arrived, messages about your own request, and up to two notes a week about other vendors we can price for you. If you asked the quote checker to email you a report, or the cost calculator to email you your estimate, that one email -- and, only if you ticked the box for it, the occasional note about what venues near you are quoting. Use the unsubscribe link at the foot of any email, or reply and say stop, and we'll stop.
If you asked to hear when a venue price comes in for your town: a short note when one does, no more than one a week. It says that a price came in and where to ask for your own. It never shows a price a venue wrote for someone else, and we use that address for nothing else.
While you're using the service, and for as long as your page is useful to you afterwards. Ask us to delete it and we will -- write to [email protected]. Deleting your details also deletes the quotes gathered for you, and we can't put those back.
We advertise on Google and on Microsoft's Bing. When you arrive by
clicking one of our ads, the company that showed it adds a click code to the
address, and we keep it in a single cookie of our own
(qs_click) for up to 90 days. If you then ask us for quotes,
or pay for a category, we tell that company that the click with that code
turned into a request or a purchase, with the time and, for a purchase, the
amount. That's all Google or Microsoft gets from us: not your name, not your email,
not your city, not your event. It lets us see which ads actually help
couples and stop paying for the ones that don't.
If you didn't come from an ad, we don't set it. There are no other tracking cookies, no pixels and no analytics scripts on this site. The link to your page is the credential -- treat it like one, and don't post it somewhere public.
When you ask us about a venue, your browser keeps your first name, your email, your town, your headcount and your date on that device, so you don't type them again when you come back to ask about another venue. It's a copy of what you've already given us. It stays in your browser, and nothing reads it but our own form. If you haven't asked us for anything in 60 days, the form stops using it and clears it the next time you visit. "Not you?" on the form clears it straight away, and so does clearing this site's data in your browser. On a shared computer, use "Not you?" when you're done.
Our wedding cost calculator keeps your choices and your budget in your own browser, so they're there when you come back. They aren't sent to us. If you go on to ask for quotes from it, the choices you made come with your request so you don't type them twice. Your budget does not. If you ask it to email you your estimate, we keep the address you typed and the choices behind that estimate, and send that one email. Your budget still stays in your browser.
Planners. We keep your name, your business name, your email address and your town; the clients you add (their first names, the date, the guest count and the town); the vendors on your own list; and what vendors send back. Vendors you ask are told your first name, your business name and those details of your client's event. Your vendor list is shown to you only: no other planner sees it and it isn't added to our directory. We email you your sign-in link and, unless you turn it off on your page, a note when vendors answer. If you subscribe, Stripe handles the card. Ask us to delete your account and we will, along with the clients and prices in it.
A planner's client. If your planner uses QuoteConcierge for your wedding, they've given us your first names, your date, your guest count and your town so vendors can quote. We don't have your email address or phone number and we don't write to you. Your page is at a private link your planner sends you. To have your details removed, ask your planner or write to us.
If we emailed you about QuoteConcierge for planners. We found your business's contact address on your own website. We send at most three emails, and every one has a link that stops them for good.
