The five questions we ask every Chicago venue

1. Is the date available for your guest count, seated?
2. What's the venue fee for that date -- and is your month priced any differently than the rest of the year?
3. Is food and drink through you or a caterer you require, or do couples bring their own? If it's through you, what per-person or package price should we plan on, and is there a food and beverage minimum or service charge?
4. Ballpark, what would your guest count run all in at your venue? If catering is separate from you, even "our couples typically end up around $X all in" is genuinely useful.
5. What's not included in the fee that couples usually end up paying for -- cleaning, security, insurance, staffing, parking, that kind of thing?

In one email, with your date and your numbers in it — then chased, because most real numbers come from the second or third try.
