The five questions to ask a Miami hotel

1. Do you have rooms available for a block over that weekend, for our out-of-town guests?
2. What's the group rate per room per night, and how does it compare to your best public rate for those dates?
3. Is that a courtesy block or a contracted block -- is there an attrition clause or a minimum, and what's the cutoff date for guests to book?
4. Are any comp rooms, an upgraded room for us, or a shuttle to the venue included at that block size?
5. What's not in the rate -- taxes, resort or destination fees, parking, breakfast?
